When she was a student, my friend Amy shared a house with 4 other girls and one guy. It was a very girly set-up with rotas on the walls for cleaning the kitchen and stuff. In the bathroom, there was a toilet-cleaning rota and a communal vibrator in the cupboard, with spare batteries and everything. There was a sign on it saying, 'Please wash after use.' I asked Amy about it. She swore that she had never used it.
